Official Program Rules
The program
The Build & Brew Passport is a digital passport sold by Habitat for Humanity Niagara. It unlocks one perk at each participating Niagara brewery and cidery for the length of the program, and every visit earns stamps toward prize draws. Proceeds support affordable home builds in Niagara.
Program dates
The program runs September 14 to December 23, 2026. Stamps and perk redemptions are available only during the program window. Passports can be purchased and activated at any time.
Who can participate
The passport is intended for participants of legal drinking age in Ontario (19+). Please enjoy responsibly.
How stamps work
- Visit a participating venue, open your passport, and tap Check in — your phone's location confirms you're there. Your first check-in at each venue is a stamp.
- Each perk you redeem is a stamp — once per perk, per passport. When a venue introduces a new perk during the season, redeeming it earns another stamp.
- Snapping a photo of a purchase receipt earns one bonus stamp per venue per day. The photo must be added at the venue, or within 12 hours of your location being confirmed there.
- Location confirmation is required to stamp or redeem a perk — it's how the program stays fair for everyone.
Prize draws
Prizes are donated by participating venues and administered by Habitat for Humanity Niagara, which conducts the draws and contacts winners using the name and phone number provided with their draw entry. Prize details are listed on the passport site and may be added to during the season.
Perks
Each venue's perks are shown in the passport and redeemed in person — show the confirmation screen to venue staff. Each perk can be redeemed once per passport. Perks are subject to venue availability and any posted day restrictions, and are valid during the program window only.
Contest details
- Employees of Habitat for Humanity Niagara, participating venues, and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
- Winners are selected by random draw from the applicable entry pool after the program closes, and must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question before being declared a winner.
- No purchase necessary: one Contest entry is available without buying a passport — submit a 500-word handwritten statement describing how community partnerships support affordable housing in Niagara, emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Habitat for Humanity Niagara before the Contest closing date. Verified entrants receive one entry.
- Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value unless otherwise stated.
- By accepting a prize, winners consent to Habitat for Humanity Niagara announcing their first name, municipality, and photograph for promotional purposes.
